"For The Best" was created after I sourced the main image from a 1949 Life Time magazine. The father and daughter depiction is something that is understood by many, and can be expanded to the father and son relationship, despite having a girl front and center as the muse. I've placed images over their heads which I kindly took from a 1960's Sports Illustrated. The golf ball could be take as something representative of what brings him joy. As could the glove and baseball be symbolic in similar ways for the daughter. I chose to use the word "lies", which is powerful word. This was meant to repesent the complexities parents and their children must deal with as they grow into adults. For better or for worse. People lie.
